Peggy Fuller Warrick, 80, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away peacefully in Greenville on Wednesday, June 7th, 2023. Funeral services for Peggy will be held at 11 AM on Friday, June 9th, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Johnson officiating. She will then be laid to rest beside her husband in Springhill South Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday for one hour prior to the service.
Peggy was a proud graduate of Dozier High School and later put her sewing skills to work as a seamstress. However, her primary focus was on creating a warm and loving home in which to raise her sons into upstanding members of society alongside her husband. She loved them beyond measure, and they certainly couldn't have asked for a better mother. She was always generous and selfless with them and they learned to appreciate the dry wit she used when dealing with them and the hijinks that come from raising boys! She was also a longtime member of Springhill Baptist Church and treasured her church family there with all her heart. In her free time, she could normally be found curled up with a book any chance she had, day or night. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved them all with everything she had and made sure each and every one of them knew how special they were to her. She will be sorely missed by all those who loved her, but they will find comfort in the knowledge that she is now enjoying her Heavenly reward after being reunited with her husband.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Morgan Warrick; parents, Ralph & Iris Furr Fuller; siblings, David "Bully" Fuller, Shirley Wilcox, Marty Fuller, and Patricia Baggett. She is survived by her cherished sons and daughters-in-law, Terry & Teri Warrick and Tim & Terri Warrick; grandchildren, Tracy (Amos) Josey, Trey (Jessica) Warrick, Trent Warrick, Tabitha (Rod) Drake, T.J. (Linda) Lawley, P.J. (Katie) Sandifer, Zachary Sandifer, and Becka Sandifer; eighteen great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty (Eldon) Wilson, Larry Fuller, and Shannon (Angie) Fuller; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Active pallbearers will be Trent Warrick, Trey Warrick, Amos Josey, Shaun Wilcox, Stallion Sasser, and Stetson Sasser.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Springhill South Cemetery Fund.
