Phillip Moseley, 66, of Brantley, Alabama, passed away, Friday. June 5, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, family, and unwavering love for those closest to him. Funeral services for Phillip will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, June 10th, at Word of Faith with Rev. Keith Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Brantley Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday for one hour prior to the service.
Phillip was a devoted husband, loving father, proud Grandaddy, cherished brother, and loyal friend. A quiet and steady presence, he was not one to seek the spotlight, but those who knew him best understood that beneath his reserved nature was a sharp wit and a wonderful sense of humor. When Phillip spoke, his words often carried a touch of humor that could bring a smile or laughter to those around him.
Phillip never met a motorcycle or a gun he didn't like. He enjoyed hunting, riding, creating videos, and spending time doing the things that brought him joy. He was also a faithful servant of his church, where he dedicated countless hours to running sound and helping ensure services ran smoothly each week.
Above all else, Phillip's greatest pride and joy was his family. Known simply as "Grandaddy" to his four grandchildren, he treasured every moment spent with them. He could often be found in the stands or on the sidelines watching Brooke, Jaden, Jon Tyler, and Jacob play sports, proudly supporting them in every season of life. Some of his favorite moments were spent teaching his grandchildren how to ride minibikes, safely handle and shoot a gun, and enjoy the outdoors. Through those experiences, he passed down not only skills and traditions but also valuable lessons about responsibility, perseverance, and family. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and the memories they shared will be treasured forever.
Phillip is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Moseley; son, Lee Bolling; daughter, Chelsea (Josh) Henderson ; grandchildren, Brooke Bolling, Jaden Henderson, Jon Tyler Henderson and Jacob Henderson; siblings, Teddy Neeley, Carolyn Herron, Dennis(Debbie) Moseley, John(Velma) Moseley, and Virginia(Dean) Polk; and honorary grandchildren, Alana Barnes, Lalie Pineau and Nayara Moreno.
Though his absence will be deeply felt, Phillip leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a legacy built on faith, devotion, and love. His family takes comfort in knowing that the quiet strength, gentle humor, and steadfast love he shared with so many will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He will be missed beyond measure and remembered always.
