Preston Boyd

Mr. Howard Preston Boyd Jr, 73, a resident of Honoraville, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019, after a long battle with Parkinson’s. Funeral services for Mr. Boyd will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 26, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Chaplain Andy Peavy officiating. Interment will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Boyd retired from Key Safety Restraints in 2008 after 22 years. He was an active member of Rock Hill Baptist Church where he dedicated his service to his Lord and Savior for many years. Mr. Boyd was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Preston Sr and Euphemia Boyd. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Darlene Tatum Boyd; son, Dana (Heather) Braden; three grandchildren, Hunter, Noah, and Brittany Braden; and many close friends. Active pallbearers will be Jim Rhodes, Jimmie Ballard, Bubba McGinney, Frank Watkins, Roy Welch, and Kenny Moseley. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 - 11 AM.
