R. C. Wooten

Wooten, Mr. R.C., 76, a resident of Highland Home died Friday March 4, 2011. Funeral services will be 11 am Monday March 7, 2011 at Magnolia Baptist Church with Rev. Chuck Francisco and Rev. Howard Kirkland officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Wooten is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Elizabeth Wooten; parents, Arthur and Mildred Gamble Wooten; and two brothers, George K. “ Buddy” Wooten and Elmer Wooten. Survivors include three children, Ronnie (Cindy) Wooten, Tommy (Linda) Wooten and Ruth Cooper; four grandchildren, Kenneth (Kelly) Mason, Timothy (Stephanie) Mason, Ryan Wooten and Thomas Ray Wooten; eight great grandchildren; four sisters, Darsey Ann Branham, Betty Smith, Linda Beggs and Esther (Bill) Hunt; and four brothers, Odell (Sharon) Wooten, Ray (Kathy) Wooten, Roger F. Wooten and Chester (Theresa) Wooten. Active pallbearers will be Daryl Wooten, Wayne Wooten, Thomas Ray Wooten, Ryan Wooten, Timothy Mason and Kenneth Branham. The family will receive friends at the church Monday from 10 am until service time.
