Raimund Norman Tillery

TILLERY, Mr. Raimund Norman, 70, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. Funeral services for Mr. Tillery will be held at 2 PM on Friday, December 16, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Tillery served with the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman B. and Caecillia “Tilly” Heinzl Tillery, and his grandparents, Cora and Rube Tillery. Mr. Tillery is survived by his two daughters, Lisa Tillery and Tania (Andreas) Kesterman, three stepchildren, Alicia (Dan) Harper, Leslie (Brian) Caldwell, and Ricky (Jessie) Weir, four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Christian, Kierstin, and Lauren Kesterman, six step-grandchildren, one great-grandchildren, sister, Linda (Dominick) Selaro, two aunts, Ernestine Jackson and Ann Tillery, four nieces, a loving cousin and caregiver, Debra Jackson Weir, and numerous other cousins. Raimund will be loved and missed forever. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 1 – 2pm.
