Rawdon Allen Downs

DOWNS, Mr. Rawdon Allen, 64, a resident of Montgomery passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015. Funeral services will be at 2pm on Thursday, July 23, 2015 from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Dean officiating. Interment will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Downs was preceded in death by his parents, Dutch and Inez Watson Downs, and a brother, Jimmy Downs. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Linda Sexton Downs; a daughter, Kathy (Bill) Easterling; two grandchildren, Journey (Michelle) O’Donnell and Ashley Easterling (Ed Cowles); five great- grandchildren, Austin O’Donnell, Katheryn O’Donnell, Christen Phelps, Lilly Phelps, and Jake Cowles; and two sisters, Ernestine Hatch and Shirley (Aubrey) Wallace. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:30pm until service time.
