JEFFCOAT, Mr. Raymond Gaston Jr, 67, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018. Funeral services for Mr. Jeffcoat will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, July 25, in Campground Methodist Church with Rev. Dunford Cole officiating. Interment will follow in Campground Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Jeffcoat was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He was also a dedicated sanitation worker with City of Luverne for over 40 years. Mr. Jeffcoat was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Gaston “Buddy” Sr and Mary Ethel Butts Jeffcoat, and his brother, Horace M. Jeffcoat. He is survived by his four children, Jessica (James) Bowlan, Justin (Samantha) Wood, Raymond Gaston Jeffcoat III, and Buddy (Adrianna) Jeffcoat; ten grandchildren, T.J., Jackson, Aubrey, Kadyn, Dalton, Lexie, Justin, Hailey, Natalie, and Avelyn; and his brother, James R. Jeffcoat. Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Wyrosdick, Jason Wyrosdick, Kenny Stephens, Al Coggins, Stanley Furr, and Jesse Grayson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 24, from 6 - 8pm.
