Raymond Thomas Messick

MESSICK, Mr. Raymond Thomas, age 78, a resident of Luverne, AL died Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, April 12, 2013 at Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Weed Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Messick is preceded in death by his son, Dean Allen Messick; his parents, Ben & Jessie Messick; four sisters, Mildred Musselwhite, Mavis Messick, Mary Alice Jowers, and Elizabeth Robbins; and three brothers, J.B. Messick, W.G. Messick, and Billy Messick. She is survived by three children, Christopher Thomas Messick, Amber Ranelle Messick, and Jason David Messick; three grandchildren, Benjamin Toy Messick, Matthew Thomas Messick, and Chelsea Ann Messick; two sisters, Elaine (Ronald) Bryan and Sherby (Jimmy) Bryan; and two brothers, Elmer (Lonnie Bell) Messick and Robert (Denise) Messick. Active pallbearers will be, Kenny Messick, Johnny Hughes, Matthew Messick, Cody Ellis, Jeff Seneca, and Marvin Johnson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1 – 2 pm.
