Riley Evon Golden

GOLDEN, Mr. Riley Evon, 81, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from the chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Webber officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Golden was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Allie Zora Golden, a sister, and five brothers. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Betty R. Golden; four children, Donnie McCurdy, Benny McCurdy, Wayne Golden, and Richard Golden; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Higden; and a number of nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Karl Eiland, Donnie Bodiford, Troy Hudson, Edwin Mitchell, Robert Lamore, and Mark Merritt. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1pm until service time.
