Robert Larry Hartin

Robert Larry Hartin, 77, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, June 25th, 2025. A celebration of Larry's life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, June 28th, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday for one hour prior to the service.

Larry was a devoted husband, father, and Pops to the family he adored with all of his heart and soul. In his younger years, he loved spending time outside in activities like golf. He also had an abiding love for old Westerns, like Gunsmoke, and cheering on his favorite sports teams like the Atlanta Braves and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Grace Faulk Hartin. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Jackie McGough Hartin; their children, Wesley (Stephanie) Hartin, Jeremy Hartin, and Robert Randall Hartin; grandchildren, Jeremiah Hartin, Kain Hartin, Hyatt Hartin, Noah Sims, Peyton Sims, Ethan Morgan, Hayden Morgan, and Cameron Morgan; brother, Gearld Hartin; and numerous other extended family members and friends.
