Robert Elson Horne

HORNE, Mr. Elson, 88, a resident of Honoraville died suddenly Tuesday, June 02, 2015 at his residence. Graveside services will be 11 am Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Panola Cemetery with Rev. Jim Looney officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Horne is preceded in death by his parents, Everette and Berdia Lee Horne and two brothers, Grady Horne and Howard Horne. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Peggy Frazier Horne; four sons, Myles T. Horne, Mickey (Lu Ann) Horne, Stuart (Beverly) Horne, and Craig (Donna) Horne; ten grandchildren, Melanie (Chris) Matthews, Wesley (Anna Marie) Horne, Erick Horne, Chad (Jessica) Horne, Dustin Horne, Kyle Horne, Adam Horne, Clay Horne, Colby Horne, and Dylan Horne; and three great grandchildren, Ava and Greyson Matthews and Bennett Horne. Grandsons will serve as active and honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 pm until 8 pm.
