Robert Wayne Jackson

Mr. Robert Wayne Jackson, 72, a resident of Dozier, Alabama, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, March 14, 2020. A graveside service for Mr. Jackson will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, March 17th, in Oak Grove Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Jackson proudly served his country with the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Afterward, he went to trade school and became a welder. He spent many years manufacturing trailers for Dorsey in Elba. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle, and he enjoyed few things more than entertaining everyone he knew with his witty sense of humor.

Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. and Mary Lou Williamson Jackson, and an infant brother, Charles David Jackson. He is survived by his 5 siblings, Doris (Michael) Hoffman, Melissa (Danny) Powell, Ronnie Jackson, Jerry Paul Jackson, and Randy L. (Wanda) Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will meet in the cemetery on Tuesday at the service time.
