Robert Hugh Smith

SMITH, Mr. Robert Hugh, 71, a resident of Greenville, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. A graveside service will be held for Mr. Smith at 3 PM on Sunday, October 29, in Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Hogwood officiating and Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, Kernie H. and Dorothy Wood Smith, sister, Elizabeth Ann Smith, and brother, Mack Hugh Smith. He is survived by his wife, Dana Lynn Smith, four children, Jimmy Smith, Mike Smith, Corina Smith, and Christie Smith, two stepsons, Christopher Lee and Cody James, five grandchildren, four brothers, Hubert (Janice) Smith, Hubbard (Debbie) Smith, Harold (Twyla) Smith, and Charles (Judy) Smith, a host of nieces and nephews, and a special family friend, Tessa Lynn Franklin. Active pallbearers will be Galahad Smith, Sandy Smith, Seyth Smith, Jeremy Smith, Jeffery Smith, Jason Smith, and Jerry Valencia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:30 – 2:30pm.
