Ronald William Brott

Mr. Ronald William Brott, 80, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away peacefully at Luverne Health & Rehabilitation on Thursday, May 11th, 2023. A celebration of his life will be held at a later time.

A native of Ohio, Ronald proudly served his country with the United States Air Force for several years. In his professional life following his service he was truly the epitome of a jack of all trades. There were few things he was unable to do when he set his mind to them, especially with how strong-willed his personality was. In his free time, he thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with his friends or finding a favorite fishing hole to drop a line in. He also adored the Christmas holidays as it gave him the opportunity to play Santa Claus to the joy of so many. However, there were few things he enjoyed more than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In fact, they meant so much to him that he was known far and wide by his CB handle, "Super Dad."

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, William & Viola Wolfe Brott; siblings, Pam Barnett, Darlene Holibaugh, Carol Swartz, and Jim Ames; and sister-in-law, Gloria Ames. He is survived by his children, Tia Brott (Jeremy Clay), Kara (Nathan) Wray, and Natasha Pittock; grandchildren, Rebecca Brott, Jake Wray, Emma Wray, Summer Wray, Aryanna Wray, Samantha Brott, and John Adams; great-grandchildren, Stella Brott, Madilyn Jenkins, and Jacen Adams; and sister, Dianna White.
