Mr. Pinckard was a lifelong and active participant in his community around Brantley. He worked as a bus driver and in other jobs for the city from 1997 until his retirement. He loved his community and was greatly respected by all those who knew him. In his free time, he loved to drop a line in a favorite fishing spot or spend his Saturdays in the Fall cheering on the Crimson Tide football team. He thoroughly enjoyed any time he could spend out in the great outdoors, whether it was fishing or just relaxing on his front porch. He also loved to listen to his favorite bluegrass and gospel tunes. Ultimately, he was just a simple man who loved the simple joys he found in life. He was a loving father, grandfather, and uncle who loved spending time with his family and will truly be missed by all of them.
Mr. Pinckard was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Douglas & Mary Ruth Johnson Pinckard, and his sister, Cynthia Pinckard Lowery. He is survived by his loving son, Casey Pinckard; granddaughter, Kinsley Rae Pinckard; and his nephews, Paul Lowery and Dalton Lowery (Susannah Noblin).
Active pallbearers will be Dalton Lowery, Paul Lowery, Isaiah Bradley, Bryce Williams, Tyler Williams, and Zack Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Todd Williams, Johnny Knighten, Mark Andrews, and Pete Johnson.
