Rosalie Langford Gaines

GAINES, Mrs. Rosalie Langford, age 78, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM on Monday, January 18, 2016 in Brantley Cemetery with Rev. Keith Morgan officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Gaines was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Brian Gaines, father, John D. Langford, mother, Alma Louise Langford Gainey, stepfather, Preston Gainey, and brother, Ray Langford. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Walter H. Gaines, two children, Deborah Gaines (Tommy) Colquett and Ken (Norlie) Gaines, three grandchildren, Dana (Parker) Wallace, Christina Gaines, and Walter A. Gaines, sister, Sadie Langford (Carrol) Jeffcoat, sister-in-law, Myrtle Langford, and two brothers, John W. (Sheila) Langford and Donald P. Gainey. Active pallbearers will be Matthew Morgan, Mickey Kilcrease, Don Wilkerson, Steve Langford, Allen Johnson, and Parker Wallace. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1-2:30pm.
