Roscoe Steve Bowen

Mr. Roscoe Steve Bowen, 57, a resident of Lapine, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019. Funeral services for Mr. Bowen will be held at 2 PM on Monday, December 9, at Danielville Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Leverette officiating. Interment will follow in Danielville Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Bowen worked hard as an electrician all of his life because he believed in the value of hard work. He was a witty and caring man, generous to all those he knew. Above all, he was a loving son, brother, and uncle who will be sorely missed.

Mr. Bowen was preceded in death by his parents, James Early and Mattie Owens Bowen, and four siblings, Jeanne Morris, Johnnie Bowen, Jackie Bowen, and Gail Bowen Kimmons. He is survived by three siblings, James Edward Bowen, Yancey Bowen, and Dona Bowen (Joe) Wright; niece, Amanda (Chris) Anderson; and four nephews, Jason Morris, Justin Bowen, Josh (Shelley) Bowen, and Kevin (Rachel) Bowen.
