Roy Lamar Holland

Mr. Roy Lamar Holland, 73, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, April 16, 2020.

Mr. Holland worked very hard for most of his life as an insurance agent. After retirement, he thoroughly enjoyed his leisure time. He will be sorely missed by all those who loved him dearly.

Mr. Holland was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. John Holland and Annie Ruth Holland. He is survived by his life partner of almost 20 years, Murlene Petty; two children, Jeanette Thomas (and her husband, Joey) of New Hope, Florida and David Holland of Panama City, Florida; one grandchild, Ethan Thomas of Panama City, Florida; and three siblings, Ted Holland (and his wife, Hilda) of Rock Hill, SC, Joyce Champion of Raleigh, NC, and Paul Holland of Milton, Florida.
