Mr. Lester worked alongside one of his brothers, William, in the construction business for many years. It was a labor-intensive job, but one that he enjoyed. In his younger years, there were few things he enjoyed more than finding a good fishing hole to relax and ease his worries. He was an avid sports fan and watched many different ones from football to wrestling. He also enjoyed the old Western TV shows & films from his youth. Above all, he was a loving brother and uncle who will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Mr. Lester was preceded in death by his parents, Ray & Gladys Holmes Lester, and siblings, Betty Byrd, Fleta West, Mary Hodge, William Lester, Randy Lester, Juanita (Bobby) Gooden, and Barbara (Neal) Tompkins. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Jane Lester; brothers-in-law, Duane (Donna Lee) Byrd and Foy (Nancy) Hodge; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
