Ruby Catrett Holley

HOLLEY, Mrs. Ruby Catrett, 87, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018. Funeral services for Mrs. Holley will be held at 2 Pm on Thursday, February 1, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Nickson Gaines officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Holley was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Holley, two sons, Billy Wayne Holmes and Mickey Daniel Holmes, parents, Jim B. and Willie Belle Guy Jordan, three sisters, Lois Pate, Olean McGuire, and Christine Rogers, and three brothers, Lomax Jordan, Willie Ray Jordan, and Ennis Jordan. She is survived by three children, Sylvia (Jerry) Ryals, Joanne (Bobby) Gaines, and Michael Holmes (Becky Arrendale), six grandchildren, Connie, Tina, Lisa, Amber, Mikey, and Angie, and fifteen great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Hayward McGuire, Bobby Gaines, Nick Gaines, George Sewell, Ethan Hand, and Elijah Hand. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 – 2pm.
