Ruby Kelley Sipper

SIPPER, Mrs. Ruby Kate Kelley, 94, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017. Funeral services for Mrs. Sipper will be held at 2 PM on Monday, May 1, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Minister Danny Rolling officiating. Interment will follow in Longs Chapel Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Sipper was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest P. “Bud” Sipper, great-grandson, Jared Thomas Sipper, parents, Dan and Ila Compton Kelley, two sisters, Lois Kelley Horn and Voncille Kelley Shows, and three brothers, James Kelley, Ralph Kelley, and Glenn Kelley. She is survived by her two children, Bill (June) Sipper and Edna Sipper Richburg, five grandchildren, Tybo (Diane) Sipper, Lori Richburg Boyd, Daryl (Andrea) Richburg, Ray (Becky) Richburg, and Cheryl Richburg (Joe) Petrey, five great-grandchildren, Ben Boyd, Luke Boyd, Clay Sipper, Carter Richburg, and Cameron Richburg, and great great-granddaughter, Skylar Sipper. Active pallbearers will be Tybo Sipper, Clay Sipper, Ben Boyd, Luke Boyd, Daryl Richburg, David Kelley, Scott Kelley, and Ray Richburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12:30 – 2pm.
