Ruth Faulk Brown

BROWN, Mrs. Ruth Faulk, 89, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018. Funeral services for Mrs. Brown will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 27, at New Ebenezer Baptist Church with Kenny Horn and Harold Russell officiating. Interment will follow in New Ebenezer Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Louis Brown, daughter, Janet Brown, parents, Isiah and Lavonia Faulk, and her brother. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy (Truman) Douglas, three sons, Larry (Virginia) Brown, Gary (Jo Ann) Brown, and Cary (Linda) Brown, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including a special grandson, Robert Douglas. Active pallbearers will be Robert Douglas, Gary Brown, Larry Brown, Cary Brown, Gary Lovelady, and Christopher Lovelady. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10 – 11 AM.
