Ruth Teague Horn

Mrs. Ruth Teague Horn, 80, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019. Funeral services for Mrs. Horn will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, April 13, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Defee, Rev. Kenny Horn, and Rev. Joe Leverette officiating. Interment will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mrs. Horn was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved God and her church tremendously. She had a gregarious personality who never met a stranger and loved entertaining in her home.

Mrs. Horn was preceded in death by her son, Barry Scott Foster; parents, Rogers and Bessie Mae Cauthen Teague; sister, Brenda Ward; Granddaddy & Granny Cauthen; and Granddaddy & Granny Teague. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Robert Horn; four children, Stan (Kim) Foster, Greg (Melanie) Foster, Renee (Gerald) Kelley, and Michelle (Chris) Mosley; eight grandchildren, Derrick Foster, Lee (Jessica) Kelley, Trista Foster, Justin Warr, Joshua (Jessica) Warr, Allan (Kaitlin) Foster, Adam (Tori) Foster, and Jamie Kelley; twelve great-grandchildren, Emilee Racey, Haylee Chesser, Emma Kate Jordan, Avery Foster, Lilli Sheffield, Kaydence Kelley, Kannon Kelley, Sydney Warr, Chloe Warr, Jaylyn Lewis, Jaxon Lewis, and Olivia Warr; five siblings, Diane (Jimmy) Williamson, Lavon Ward, Harold (MaryAnn) Teague, Betty (Tommy) Russell, and Joanne (Jimmy) Frankum; and numerous other extended family and loved ones.

Active pallbearers will be Allan Foster, Adam Foster, Lee Kelley, Justin Warr, Joshua Warr, and Jason McManigle. Honorary pallbearers will be Derrick Foster, Terry Mears, Tommy Cauthen, Rob Patton, and Anthony Frazier. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 - 11 AM.
