Ruth Tisdale Hughes

HUGHES, Mrs. Ruth Tisdale, 90, a resident of Glenwood died Tuesday April 22, 2014. Graveside services will be 11 am Thursday April 24, 2014 at Providence Cemetery with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Hughes is preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Hughes; her parents, Daniel and Mary Lee Tisdale; and a sister, Marie Synco. Survivors include five children, Steve (Becky) Hughes, Lynn (Denny) Stallings, Leigh Jeffcoat, Kellie (Bill) Henderson, and Carey Hughes; six grandchildren, Danny Hughes, Brad Jeffcoat, Jason Hughes, Blake Stallings, Kayla Bryan, and Derek Hughes; and six great grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Danny Hughes, Brad Jeffcoat, Jason Hughes, Blake Stallings, Kyle Bryan, and Denny Stallings. The famiy will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. The family requests that any memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice.
