Sally Bannister

Ms. Sarah Lynn “Sally” Bannister, 69, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019. Ms. Bannister began her career as a teacher, but later went back to college to earn a second bachelor’s to begin a new career as an accountant with the State of Alabama. She was also a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. Ms. Bannister was preceded in death by her parents, William S. Bannister and Kathleen Hardy Honey. She is survived by her son, Troy Douglas Cornett; two granddaughters, Abby Cornett and Madison Jordan; and her dear friend, Douglas C. Cornett.

A memorial service will be announced later in the week.
