Sam Walters, Jr.

WALTERS, Mr. Sam, Jr., 61, a resident of Dozier, Alabama, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017. A memorial service for Mr. Walters will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, April 29, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Kelly officiating and Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Walters proudly served as a corporal in the United States Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Isaac and Mayzell Spurlock Walters, Sr., two sisters, Frances Gasper and Betty Sue Perrett, and two brothers, Neal Morgan, and Earl Morgan. Mr. Walters is survived by his wife, Kelly Crosson Walters, son and daughter-in-law, Samuel Chad and Linda Marie Walters, three stepchildren, Pamela Hubacek, Kim (Mark) Morrison, and Jeremy (Heather) McCann, six grandchildren, Michael Wayne Witherington, Breannica Marie Patterson, Blake Andrew Patterson, Gabriella Rose Walters, Samuel Turner Walters, and Savannah McCann, and his sister, Shirley Garner. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 – 11 AM.
