Samuel Sylvain Mela

Mr. Samuel Sylvain Mela, 64, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2018. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, March 30, in Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with Rev. Clay Crum officiating and Turners Funeral Home directing. Mr. Mela was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie McLeod Mela; his parents, Donald and Doris Mela; and two brothers. He is survived by his daughter, Aimey Turney; two siblings; a special friend, Gail Whitmire; and a host of other friends. Family and friends will meet in the cemetery at the service time.
