Sarah Beaty Parnell

Mrs. Sarah Katherine Beaty Parnell, 74, a resident of Luverne, Alabama and formerly of Niceville, Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at Luverne Health & Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Parnell was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family above all else. She was an avid animal lover, having such a soft heart for so many of them. She also enjoyed dabbling in her favorite hobby, photography, for much of her life. Her favorite subjects were the nature and accompanying animals that surrounded her. She will be dearly missed by all those she leaves behind.

Mrs. Parnell was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph M. & Ada Yarborough Beaty, and three sisters, Peggy Joyce Stallings, Nancy Jo Beaty Manns, and Terri Lynn Beaty. She is survived by her three children, Toni (Robert) Dieckmann, Donald (Dawn) Parnell, and Martin (Laura Martin) Maitlan; seven grandchildren, Adelaide, Tiffany, Adam, Stephen, Daniel, Jordan, and Katie; thirteen great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Daisy, Alyvia, Madi, Jade, Bryson, Jeffrey, Denise, Jasmine, Isabella, Tyberius, Aurelia, and Asher; and her brother, John “Buddy” Lawrence Beaty.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later time.
