WILLIAMS, Mrs. Sarah Jean, 71, a resident of Luverne, Alabama died Wednesday, November 6, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 2 PM from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Indian Creek Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her husband, Nelson “Panto” Williams; her parents, John and Rosie Owens; her grandson, Jared Sipper; four brothers, Roy, J.T., Mac, and Lloyd Owens; and sister, Geraldine Strops. She is survived by six children, Regina (Calvin) Moore, Tina (Randy) Godwin, Donna (William) Baker, Lori (Forest) Person, Jerry Williams, and Terry Williams; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; her sister, Dean (Cecil) Kelley; and her brother, Jerone (Sonya) Owens; along with a host of loving nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Mac Williams, Denny Williams, Joey Williams, Bradley Gorey, Cameron Moore, Roman Moore, and John Tanner. Honorary pallbearers include Clinton Owens and Jerry Lee Williamson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6 to 8 pm.
