Sharon Brunson Allen

Mrs. Sharon Brunson Allen, 65, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Tuesday, September 22, 2020.

Mrs. Allen spent most of her life working in Crenshaw and Montgomery Counties at various jobs. One of her longest tenures was in the capital city as a server at the State House Inn. Above all, she was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all she leaves behind.

Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her son, David Dickey; parents, Benjamin Lamar & Annie Katherine Farrior Brunson; and two siblings, Kathy Williams and Olin Brunson. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis & Jamie Dickey; two grandchildren, Cameron Dickey and Julie Dickey; brother, Howard (Sheila) Brunson; four nieces, four nephews, and other extended family members.

A memorial graveside service for Mrs. Allen will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 3rd, in Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Jeffrey Penn officiating.
