Sharon Elaine Talley

Mrs. Sharon Talley, 78, a resident of Rutledge, Alabama, passed away at Troy Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, October 19th, 2021. A graveside service for Mrs. Talley will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 26th, in Rutledge Cemetery with Brother Neal Kelley officiating and Turners Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Talley was a born caretaker and loved spending her life around her family and friends; in fact, there was nothing she loved more than their time together. She was also a devout Christian woman who lived her life according to the teachings of Jesus. She was a dedicated member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church and sung in the choir there for many years. In her rare free time, she was also an avid reader. She was a huge part of her family's lives, and they will miss her terribly, but they find comfort in the knowledge that she has been reunited with the loved ones that went on before her.

Mrs. Talley was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Nance; grandchildren, Ethan Nance & Brooke Ledford; great-grandchildren, Autumn Rhodes and Raylee Roberts; her parents, Homer & Iona Youngblood Offield; and sister, Patricia Rhiner. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Kenneth Talley; children, Terri (John) Harr, Lori Woods, Laura (Rick) Morrisey, Sharon (Raymond) Ledford, and Thomas (Bayli) Nance; 22 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; sister, Loretta Daughtry; sister-in-law, Shirley (David) Parker; and brother-in-law, Theo Talley.

The family will received friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6 - 8 PM.
