Sharron Dianne Layton

Sharron DiAnne Layton of Brantley, Alabama, died peacefully at her home on February 25, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on January 2, 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elsie Mae and George Tompkins. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of forty-five years, Dwight Layton. She is also survived by her three children: Charlsi Layton Lee and her husband Arch of Montgomery, Christopher George Layton and his wife Tracey of Brantley, and Charles Dwight Layton, Jr. of Brantley. She also leaves behind to cherish her memories, her seven beloved grandchildren: Greyson Layton, McDowell Lee, Elleigh Layton, Arch Lee, McKay Lee, Anne Layton Lee and Cooper Layton.

A memorial service will be conducted Monday, February 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Visitation will be held at the church at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Youth Building Fund, Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Brantley, Alabama.
