Shirley Morgan Garner

GARNER, Mrs. Shirley Morgan, 71, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018. A memorial service for Mrs. Garner will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, February 17, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Jones officiating and Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Garner was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Frank Garner, great-grandchild, Kalup Walker, mother and stepfather, Mazell Spurlock Walters and Sam Walters Sr., two sisters, Betty Sue Perrett and Frances Dee Gasper, and three brothers, Earl Morgan, Neal Morgan, and Sam Walters Jr. She is survived by her two children, Marquita Compton and Buster (Tabitha) Garner, four grandchildren, Kayla Walker, Katie Hughes, Dylan Garner, and Laken Garner, two great-grandchildren, Carly Walker and Zane Walker, special friend, Mike Beasley, special niece, Stephanie Jones, and numerous other loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:30 - 2pm. Family and friends will meet at the Dei Center at the Luverne Methodist Church following the service.
