Sophia Lou Cross

CROSS, Mrs. Sophia Lou Wyatt, 106, a resident of Elmore and formerly of Brantley died Saturday November 3, 2012. Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday November 5, 2012 at the Brantley United Methodist Church with Rev. Wesley Spivey officiating. Interment will follow in Bullock Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Cross is preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Cross; her parents, George R. “ Buster” and Mary C. Wyatt; and six brothers, Arthur Wyatt, Tom Wyatt, Frank Wyatt, Obie Wyatt, Forest Wyatt and Joe Wyatt. She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Don Wyatt, C.W. Wyatt, Jeffrey Wyatt, Stan Sasser, Tommy Everage, and Steve Walker. The family will receive friends at the church Monday from 1 pm until service time.
