Sue Parker Eiland

Mrs. Sue Parker Eiland, 98, a resident of Highland Home, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

Mrs. Eiland dedicated her life to taking care of her family, raising both children and grandchildren for many years. In her free time, she loved to fish. She had a special affinity for animals, including dogs and hummingbirds. She also enjoyed watching the flowers she planted around her home bloom every spring. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother whose presence is going to be sorely missed by the family and friends she leaves behind.

Mrs. Eiland was preceded in death by her husbands, Audie Parker and Sammie Eiland; son, Roy D. Parker; grandson, Randy Parker; great-grandson, Josh Parker; parents, John Wesley and Minnie Bell Tidwell; and three siblings.

She is survived by two children, Aubrey Leo Parker and Lois Parker; thirteen grandchildren, Sherry (Rob) Manning, James Parker, Rhonda Wallace, Michelle Parker, Lenny Parker, Chris Parker, Tina (Johnny) Kent, Kayla Parker, Tony Moore, Marty Moore, Michael (Gail) Moore, Danny (Angie) Moore, and Rob (Lori) Moore; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
