Sue Morris Lindsey

Mrs. Sue Morris Lindsey, 86, a resident of Highland Home, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019. A graveside service for Mrs. Lindsey will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, November 19, in Sardis Cemetery with Howard Cochran and Harold Russell delivering eulogies and Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mrs. Lindsey was one of the most generous and loving souls one could ever meet. Her kindness was endearing to all those who knew her. She truly emulated how a Christian is supposed to live, always putting others before herself. One of her favorite activities was writing cards to others for all occasions, and that kind of thoughtfulness is rare in the world these days.

Mrs. Lindsey was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Jefferson Lindsey; stepson, Donald Lindsey; parents, James Lester and Sarah Lillian Clayton Morris; and her sister & best friend, Rebecca Ann Davis. She is survived by her special nephew/inherited son, Ronald (Corinna) Davis; stepson, Larry (Sarah) Lindsey; brother-in-law, Edward O. Davis; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers will be Howard Cochran, Harold Russell, David Center, and Buddy Mercer.

Family and friends will meet in the cemetery at the service time.
