Susan Alisa Hagler

HAGLER, Mr. Norman Edward and Mrs. Susan Alisa, ages 60 and 56, residents of Luverne, AL, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 10, 2014 in the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home at 10AM with Rev. Frank Lowery officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Hagler was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Emmie Hagler. He is survived by several extended family members. Mrs. Hagler was a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Horticulture. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Nancy Plant. She is survived by a brother, Thomas (Carol) Plant; a sister, Judy (Christopher) King; four nieces, Lauren and Katy Plant, Jennifer LaRue (Cern) Van Newkirk and Meridee LaRue; one nephew, Jeff LaRue; a great-niece, Lillian Van Newkirk; and a great-nephew, Max Van Newkirk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9AM until service time.
