Mrs. Hardy spent most of her life in Luverne, working primarily in the restaurant business. Her career was well-suited for her given how much she enjoyed people and loved to talk. She had an outgoing personality that served her well throughout her life. Although she never had children of her own, she adored all of her nieces and nephews as if they were hers. She was a faithful member of Rock Hill Church of Christ. She always enjoyed her time there and being with her church family. Her two greatest loves were her husband and her family. They were her world, and she will always hold a special place in all of their hearts.
Mrs. Hardy was preceded in death by her parents, Ducion E. & Margie Owens White, and four siblings, Willie B. White, Joseph L. White, Gerald E. White, and Faye Swearinger. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Willie Hardy; six siblings, Wayne White, Ray (Lorraine) White, Raymond (Linda) White, Louise Simmons, Shirley (Guy) Simmons, and Sylvia Grant; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and several special friends.
