Tabatha Sue Hayes, 58, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 8th, 2026, at Luverne Health & Rehabilitation. A private celebration of Tabitha's life will be held at a later date.

Tabatha was a gentle and loving soul who was soft-spoken with plenty of spunk to keep you on your toes. She moved through the world in her own way as she was very particular, but in the best way possible. She found her joy from day-to-day in watching NCIS, doing her word search & crossword puzzles, and reading. However, her happiest moments in this world were found in the time she got to spend with her beloved family, whose love always meant everything to her.

Tabatha was preceded in death by her parents, Everett & Connie Reeves Hayes, and brother, Travis Hayes. She is survived by her siblings, Gary (Daphne) Hayes and Sherry (Michael) Williams; nieces & nephews, Brandon T. (Abby) Hayes, Baylie (Tay) Brantley, Breely Hayes, and Brandon (Marissa) Hayes; and great-nieces & nephews, Emersyn Hayes, Daniel Liam Hayes, Kalon Isaiah Hayes, Zechariah River Hayes, and Jeremiah Phoenix Hayes.
