Teresa Moman Grant

GRANT, Mrs. Teresa Marie Moman, 57, a resident of Luverne died Saturday January 11, 2014. Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday January 13, 2014 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Carson and Rev. W.O. Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home officiating. Mrs. Grant is preceded in death by her father, Fred L. Moman and her grandmother, Sarah Moman. Survivors include her husband, Ricky Grant; two children, Michelle Page (David) Taylor and Christopher Landon ( Michelle) Grant; four grandchildren, Abby Taylor, John David Taylor, Grant Taylor, and Landon Grant; her mother, Cummie Moman; four sisters, Mary (Wayne) McLeod, Sheila (Paul) Jones, Karen (Lamar) Battle, and Charlotte (Marvin) Blumentritt; and many other loving special friends and extended family, including Pam Kelley, an adopted “ sister “. Active pallbearers will be Paul Jones, Randall Hill, Wayne McLeod, Rex Grant, Lamar Battle, and Steve Battle. Dr. Marvin Blumentritt will service as an honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6pm until 8pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests any memorial donations be made to Gideons Internation, P.O. Box 51, Luverne, AL 36049 or to the Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund, 5123 N. Glenwood Road, Goshen, AL 36035.
