Thelma Moulton Rayborn

RAYBORN, Mrs. Thelma Moulton, 93, a resident of Brantley died Sunday, August 25, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. William Leverette officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Turner Funeral of Luverne directing. Mrs. Rayborn is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Samuel Rayborn; her parents, Horace and Tennie Moulton; three sisters, Lois King, Vera Moulton, and Nellie Kate Moulton; and one brother, W. D. Moulton. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte & Dewayne Alverson; two grandsons, Wade Alverson and Warren (Elizabeth) Alverson; great granddaughter, Emily Alverson; and four brothers, H.T. (Helen) Moulton, John Howard Moulton, Wayne (Diane) Moulton, and Leon Moulton. Pallbearers will be Clark Rayborn, Larry Rayborn, Johnny Rayborn, Rick Moulton, Tim Rayborn, and Robert Peck. The family will receive friends at Turner Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 pm. Mrs. Rayborn will also lie-in-state at the church on Wednesday for thirty minutes prior to services.
