Thomas Wilmer Barr

BARR, Mr. Thomas W., 66, a resident of Greenville, Alabama, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Saturday, August 8, 2015 in the chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Burgans officiating. Interment will follow in Rocky Mount Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Barr was preceded in death by his parents, W.J. and Irene Franklin Barr. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sharon Barr; two children, Dixie Barr and Sean Barr; three grandchildren, Caitlin Barr, Duston Owens, and Noah Owens; a sister and two brothers. Active pallbearers will be Allen Morse, Michael Wood, Justin Arthur, Brian Sampley, Sean Barr, Donald Bush, Mary Greene and Rebecca Fannin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:30pm until service time.
