Thomas Beasley

Mr. Thomas Beasley, 69, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 31, 2019. Funeral services for Mr. Beasley will be held at 2 PM on Monday, February 4, at New Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Horn officiating. Interment will follow in New Ebenezer Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Beasley proudly served with the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather who cherished his family and will forever be remembered for his love and sense of humor. Mr. Beasley was preceded in death by his grandson, Case Beasley; parents, Guy and Ida Mae Beasley; and sister, Guynese Eiland. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Nobie White Beasley; their two children, Renee Beasley (Michael) Weigel and Tommy (Jessica) Beasley; three grandchildren, Hope (Cade) Favor, Grace Bowen, and Drew Weigel; four sisters, Edna Horne, Betty Ann (Allen) Clark, Annette Chandler, and Sally (Paul) Creel; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers will be Paul Allen, Ronnie Nichols, Paul Creel, Cade Favor, Chase White, and Jason Ogletree. Bennie White will serve as an honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 12:30 - 2pm.
