Thomas Alexander Capps

Mr. Thomas "Tommy" Alexander Capps, 72, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 7th, 2023 at Luverne Health & Rehabilitation.

Tommy was a proud graduate of Luverne High School and later went on to earn his associate's degree. He always loved to travel and enjoyed the years he did so as he worked various jobs all around the country. Tommy was a gregarious person who truly enjoyed any job that allowed him to spend time with a wide variety of people, which is why jobs like running the Red Rock fit him so well. He was also a foodie and loved to try all kinds of delicious dishes, but his favorite was always anything chocolate! Ultimately, Tommy was a generous soul with everyone he cared about, and truly loved and adored his mother.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, George Spencer & Mary Coggins Capps, and his brother, James Spencer Capps. He is survived by his aunts, Sarah Isbell and Ramona Porter, and several cousins.

A memorial service for Tommy will be held at 1 PM on Monday, April 10th, at the Luverne Church of Christ with Steve Sanders and Martha Morgan delivering eulogies.
