Thomas Mack Crowell

September 11, 1946 — July 30, 2020

Brantley

Tom passed away peacefully Thursday July 30, 2020. He was preceded in death by his brother Charles, his father Al, and mother Ruth. He is survived by his wife Debra, daughter Catherine, son Nathan, his grandchildren, and many extended family and friends.

Tom was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, but lived the majority of his life as resident of Alabama. He was raised in Letohatchee and graduated from Hayneville High School. Following graduation from Troy State University, he served as a pilot and officer in the United States Air Force, where he earned the rank of captain. After his military service, he owned and operated Crowell Ag-Air and later was the long time owner of the Red Rock store in Luverne.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date once the pandemic subsides. In lieu of flowers or donations you should:
⁃ Go fishing whenever you can
⁃ Enjoy dinner and a good belly laugh with friends
⁃ Tell your children you love them very much and are proud of them
⁃ Always, always be up for a cup of coffee
