Thomas Fulton Norris

NORRIS, Mr. Thomas Fulton, 82, a resident of Luverne died Sunday, December 20, 2015. Funeral services will be 2 pm Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Salem Church of Christ with Rev. Dunford Coles officicating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Norris cherished his family and was devoted to his grandchildren. He adored each of them, and cherished the moments he was able to spend with them. He was a giving person, who always tried to give to help those in need if he was able to, whether it was family, friends, or neighbors. He and his dog, Scooter, would spend countless hours on the back porch watching birds and chasing lizards, while he sat in his favorite rocking chair. He will be forever missed by his family. Mr. Norris is preceded in death by his parents, Zebe F. and Winnie Lester Norris, a sister, Frances Norris Miles, and four brothers, Fred Norris, Frazier Norris, Forrest Norris, and Frank Norris. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Vivian Thomas Norris; three children, Sandra Norris (John) Kilpatrick, Mike Norris, and Tommy Norris; seven grandchildren, Jamie (David) Finlayson, Nikki Kilpatrick (Christopher) Hilburn, Emily Norris, Eric Norris Bagents, Chad Kilpatrick, Trent Norris, and Clint Norris; two great grandchildren, Natalee Jane Hilburn and River Finlayson; sister, Flonell Norris Carnes; and his beloved four-legged friend and companion, Scotter Norris, as well as several nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Active pallbearers will be John Kilpatrick, Christopher Hilburn, Craig Norris, Chad Kilpatrick, Trent Norris, and Clint Norris. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 1 pm until service time.
