Thomas Millton Golden

GOLDEN, Mr. Thomas Milton, 76, a resident of Glenwood died Friday, March 6, 2015. Funeral services will be 11 am Monday, March 9, 2015 at the Fleetwood Baptist Church with Rev. David Richburg, Rev. Lamar Gibson and Rev. Greg Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery with Turner’s Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Golden is preceded in death by two sons, Thomas Eugene Golden and Robert “Robbie” Douglas Golden; his parents, Bob and Bobbie Horne Golden; and a sister, Bessie Lou Golden. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Willie Ann Golden; two children, Tina Golden (Kenny) Shoemaker and Dwayne Milton Golden; eight grandchildren, Robbie Golden, Brandi Kennamore, Eddie Sanders, Jessica Golden, Eric Sanders, Heather Shoemaker, Michael Shoemaker, and Julie Ann Bynum; and seven great grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Eddie Sanders, Eric Sanders, Wesley Gibson, Lamar Gibson, Timothy Stonestreet, and Andy Warren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home of Sunday from 6 pm until 8 pm. The body will lie-in-state at the church on Monday from 10:30 am until service time.
