Thomas Whit Jordan, Jr.

JORDAN, Thomas Whit, Jr., 93, a resident of Highland Home, AL died Saturday, January 19, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Leverette officiating. Interment will follow in Helicon Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Jordan is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas W. & Zue H. Jordan, his brother, Clay L. Jordan, Sr., and his sister, Doris J. Willis. He is survived by one sister, Bennie J. Sport; a brother, James Murray (Doris) Jordan; five nieces & nephews, William C. (Marsha) Willis, Donna W. (Leslie) McHugh, Frankie Sport, Clay L. Jordan, Jr., and Teri J. (John) Brothers; a number of great nieces & nephews; and his sister-in-law, Ann P. Jordan. Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Jordan, Ronnie Lansdon, Frankie Sport, Harold Nelson, Richard Jordan and Steven Holliday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 10 am until service time. Memorial donations may be made to United Methodist Children’s Home, 3140 Zelda Court, Montgomery, AL 36106, or to the charity of one’s choice.
