Tony Lamar Pettus, Sr.

PETTUS, Mr. Tony Lamar, Sr., 63, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, May 16, in Providence Cemetery with Rev. Steve Carson officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Pettus was preceded in death by his father, Lamar Pettus, mother, Mildred Rolling Sport, and brother, Jimmy Pettus. He is survived by his three children, Margaret Williams, Tony (Paula) Pettus, Jr., and Angie (David) Adams, seven grandchildren, Braxton Pettus, Emily Pettus, Kimberly Williams, Jennifer Williams, Brandy Williams, Heidi Cook, and C.J. Adams, his brother, Curtis (Donna) Pettus, and niece, Regina (Wayne) Brown. Active pallbearers will be Bobby Pettus, Carrie Pettus, Ren Ballard, Jerry Davis, Ernie Beasley, and Joel Perdue. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12:30 – 1:30pm.
