Tracey Baker Henderson

Tracey Baker Henderson, 60, a resident of Highland Home, Alabama, passed away at Crenshaw Community Hospital in Wednesday, January 7th, 2026, after a courageous fight with cancer. Funeral services for Tracey will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 10th, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Brother Stae Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Rocky Mount Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.

Tracey simply lived for her family. They were always her absolute heart and soul every day of her life. It didn't take long for each generation of children within the family to learn that Aunt Tracey was the person to ask when you wanted something because she was NEVER going to tell you no! In her later years, she truly loved spending her days helping with multiple generations of her nieces and nephews and their children, especially her sweet Kelsi, Charlie, and Asher. In her free time, she loved singing, even won a competition for it, or watching her favorite old Westerns on TV. And, look, if you needed to know where to go eat anywhere in the area, you had better call Tracey for the 411! While she could cook, her favorite thing was having someone else cook for her so eating out was definitely her thing. She could easily provide you with a full review of every restaurant in the surrounding area. Above all, her kind, loving, caring, and generous soul was a true blessing in the lives of those who knew and loved her.

Tracey was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Baker and Sue Sanders Layton, and siblings, David Baker and Melanie Sawyer. She is survived by her husband, Tommy Henderson; beloved children, Kyler (Chase) Henderson and Kendall Henderson; siblings, Scott (Mechelle) Baker and Vicki Benton; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Louie Baker, Hunter Stacey, Eric Bloodsworth, Chad Leverett, Kenneth Braswell, and Richard Jinright.
